Starting from the center of

Xerocampos

in the north-east/north-west direction these are the distances from :

  • Zakros center - 9 km. (about 13 minutes travel time); in the village you will find pharmacy, gas station, garages, ATM and small grocery stores

  • Palekastro - 26,6 km. (about 38 minutes); in the village you will find pharmacy, gas stations, ATM and also grocery stores

  • Sitia center - 44 km. (journey approximately 1 hour); in the city you will find the hospital with first aid, pharmacies, gas stations, tire repairers, garages, ATMs and shops of all kinds

  • Sitia port - 44,8 km. (about 1 hour and 2 minutes); connections at east to Cassos, Karpathos, Chalki and Rhodes and at west/northwest to Heraklion, Santorini, Milos and Piraeus (Athens)

  • Sitia airport - 49,5 km. (about 1 hour and 8 minutes); the Vincent Kornaro JSH has national connections to Heraklion, Karpathos, Kasos, Rhodes, Athens, Alexandroupolis, Preveza/Lefkada and international to Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Munich (Germany), Stockholm-Arlanda (Sweden), Oslo-Gardermoen (Norway), Copenaghen and Billund (Denmark)

  • Pahia Ammos - 90,2 km. (about 1 hour and 53 minutes); here is the intersection point of the national road to Agios Nikolaos (north coast) and Ierapetra (south coast)

  • Agios Nikolaos - 110 km. (about 2 hours and 18 minutes in the direction of Sitia and the north coast); in the city you will find the largest hospital in Lassithi , ATMs , pharmacies , gas stations, garages, shops of all kinds. From the port in the city center there is a tourist connection to the Spinalonga Island. From Agios Nikolaos starts the national road to Heraklion (62,5 km. - about 55 minutes).

 From Xerocampos

proceeding instead in the south-west direction (but still remaining in the Lassithi region)

you will reach :

  • Ziros - 19,9 km. (about 31 minutes travel time); in the village you will find a gas station, a garage, ATM and small grocery stores

  • Papagiannades - 29,2 km. (about 44 minutes); here you come to the state road that leads to Sitia on the right (north coast) and on the left to Makrigialos (south coast)

  • Makrigialos - 43,6 km. (journey approximately 1 hour and 1 minute); boarding point of the tourist boat that takes to the island of Koufonissi

  • Ierapetra - 69,4 km. (about 1 hour and 30 minutes); in the city you will find the hospital with first aid, pharmacies, ATMs, gas stations, tire repairers, garages and shops of all kinds. From the port the summer tourist boats depart to the island of Chrissì  (Χρυσή/Chrysì - Γαϊδουρονήσι/Gaidouronisi)

  • Myrtos - 83,5 km. (about 1 hour and 47 minutes); the last town of Lassithi, from here the southern state road to Heraklion (78,7 km. - about 1 hour and 20 minutes).
