Hametoulo ,  is a very small traditional village, all in local stone craft, almost uninhabited (less than 6 people live here), situated in a beautiful valley, half way between Xerocampos and Ziros .

The photography that you see has been taken after the snowfall of February 2004 (quite a rare event for these zones, of great charm and enchantment).

On the village side starts a path that though sharp gorges leads to the sea (towards Amatu) in about an hour walk, following the steps of shepherds which still use this path for the yearly move of herds from Xerocampos to the mountains.

From Hametoulo starts the road without asphalt that leads to Agia Irini, a route due a try for his splendid view.
