It’s located at the end of a natural gorge of great enchantment (called Death Valley Gorge) that with its 6 kilometres of walk connects Zakros to

Kato Zakros.

It overlooks a beautiful and long fine pebble beach and the sea is of remarkable transparency and clearness.

Here you will find three good Taverns on the sea front and some nightlife thanks to a pub/cafeteria always open until late night.

The directions  from Xerocambos , in  about 20 minutes drive, are towards  Zakros (10 kilometres of wich 1 is of dirt road) and once at the first houses of the village turning right for the last 8 kilometres of panoramic asphalted road.
