The gorges of Topòlia,

on the left of the photograph you can see the narrow tunnel that is obligatory point of passage to reach Elafonissi coming from Kìssamos-Topòlia.

The transit is only possible in alternating one-way and is controlled by traffic lights to the two entrances to the tunnel, and it easily creates long vehicle queues in summer,

that can bring to one hour standby.
