Always well kept the small Orthodox churches!

This one located just outside of Zakros is dedicated to the Panagia (Virgin) Vėglou and is surrounded by a beautiful grove of plane trees, next to a spring of drinking water, a really nice place for a traveler to rest and freshen up a while in the hot Cretan summers.
