Zakros,
It was built around 1600 BC, it included 180 rooms and stretched for about 8,000 m2.
In the western part of the
palace are located the rooms of dignitaries, while in the north part
there were rooms for symposia equipped with skylights, were also found
large votive basins.
The site location of the palace was of great importance because it allowed the sea trade with the East, and with the other palaces on the island.
